White Lies

I hate to be the one,

Who is a liar,

Being dishonest,

With all those,

Little white lies.

 

I hate to do that,

But please understand me,

I don’t do that,

For my own good,

I do that for you,

My family,

My friends.

 

I don’t want them,

To feel what I am feeling,

It’s too hurt to explain,

Or even to show.

 

Please drop the conversation,

Stop annoying me,

By what you so-called care,

These are no help,

It only hurts,

Even more.

I AM a liar, I always am,
but no here, cause its the only way to relax me, to tell truth sometimes, somewhere,which means here.

You have to be a liar to be a writer. That comes with the territory. In order to write a single word of truth, which is the goal of most writers, you have to lie.

But that's not what you're writing here. This is lying to hide rather than to reveal. You should reveal.

If u want to stand out from others one should stop the habit of lying i know its difficult but try it , no matter even if yr neck is on the line accept yr fault but never lie as 1 lie leads to another and then there is no end to it. Nice poem.

I know how it hurts, to have to lie. I used to lie a lot but it doesn't ever end nicely :(
I think that we lie because we’re not comfortable in who we are or want to be something else. Or we are trying to hide something. So it’s understandable, but still wrong.
I would just come clean if I were you. If you’re hurting your family and friends need to know this not be lied to. Sorry if this sounds harsh. But I’m speaking from experience!

I know how you feel.... sometimes we have to lie for the good of the people we care about. i had to lie for someone for so long cause i didn't want his heart to get broken and yesterday i had to tell him the truth about what was going with his girlfriend or else he was going to kill himself. i hate myself now. but what was i suppose to do? i didn't want him to kill himself!! lies suck... i hate how much they become necessary in life....
