God Willing The Devil Never Cared

Storms come, storms go,

Nature never changes

No matter which way

The wind blows.

 

Fires burn bright, Fires burn out,

The ashes will never last

For they’ll be swept away

To higher grounds.

 

Death is tragic, Death is everlasting,

It is never the end though

As long as the stars

At midnight are shining.

 

The devil may whisper

In my ear everyday

But I see God with my own eyes

Every minute of the day.
