Do you remember the day?

Do you remember the night?

Do you remember the first dream?

I remember the phone calls that lasted until 4 am,

I remember having everything to say to you,

I remember the first time I heard the subtleness of your voice,

It wasn't yesterday but it felt like it.

I remember the day,
I remember the night,
I remember the first dream...and every one after that,
I remember your laugh and the first time I heard it,
I remember exactly where I sat,
The first day I met the love of my life

Have I ever told you,

That you are my life,

That you are the one I wish to serve,

That you are more than just another beautiful girl?

It never seemed so hard,

Just to say you are my love.

You've told me once but please say it again,
Your love is my sanity...my reason for clarity,
And as your lips form the words my heart responds,
Thumping fast beats to each syllable you speak,
You're more than just another guy,
And though we've had problems now and then,
You remain my one true love.

Just to say we were never simple at first,

We stumbled through our rocky love,

To become something more than just another love story,

As our hearts can tell,

We can't be without the simple thought of us

So our minds are set,

And together we shall be one.

We've had our differences and I've done things I regret,
But in the end Faith intertwined our paths again,
So I took your hand and you took mine,
And we walked away into that cinematic sunset,
My heart screamed your name,
My head held your image,
And in that very moment I knew we were One.

As love continues to grow stronger,

We long just to hear one more word from the other,

We long to hold the other for one more second,

And to be everything we hoped for,

Through it all for more than just better.
