The "It's Not My Problem" Problem

The "It's Not My Problem" Problem

A Poem by Diana

Pass it along.
One to the next.

Excuses abound.
"It's not MY problem."
"Someone else will take care of IT."

Too often the "it" is not an it.
But a Person.

The "It's not my problem"
is a Part of Us
and we are a Part of It.

Well done and VERY witty, although you may not have intended it as so. it does strike a deeper undertone tone of the seriousness of responsibility and the idea that one need only see a problem and CHOOSE to fix it because they CAN not because it wasn't their fault. Well done Diana! ;)

The power of simplicity and unhindered sense of what is happening around us is what makes this a great write!

This is so true in so many ways. Sometimes getting rid of "it" can be both good and bad. Thanks for sharing :)

Very witty. Your poems always make me reflect. I have to agree with Sami and say that you always find this way to give light to big philosophical ideas in these very small but thought-provoking pieces. It's an awesome style, diana! Thank you for sharing!
