Organization Zero- Chapter 2

Chapter 2

            I woke up in the morning and was a little tired. Although I had to deal with it. Chris told me on the phone that was picking me up at seven. It was six in the morning. The first thing I had to do was get in the shower for fifteen minutes. After the shower I ate breakfast for ten minutes. The next thing I did was my hair which took about half an hour. I had five minutes left to get ready to go to school.

            Chris was outside at seven o’clock like he said. I went outside to get into the car.

            “How’d you sleep after you stopped texting me,” he asked.

            “I fell right to sleep,” I said.

            “Good,” he said.

            “I’m still tired,” I told him with a yawn.

            “That sucks,” he said.

            “Yes, can you drive now,” I said. He started to drive away.

            “Can you not call me at two in the morning again,” Chris started yelling.

            “Okay,” I said softly. I was upset because I don’t like being yelled at. I had the saddest look on my face that he stopped yelling.

            “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to upset you,” he said looking at the road.

            “I don’t like being yelled at,” I responded.

            “I understand,” he said. After that we sat in silence because I didn’t know what to say to him. I know he wanted to ask me more about the dream. He didn’t want to upset me more so he decided not to ask.

            “You can ask me what you want to,” I told him.

            “Thanks,” he said.

            “You’re welcome,” I said.

            “I want to ask you about the sky. What color was it,” he asked.

            “The sky was pink and silver like a sunrise,” I responded.

            “Do you think it’s going to come true,” he asked.

            “I hope not,” I exclaimed.

            “Me either I can’t stand for one of my friends to be hurt,” he said. He wasn’t being a jerk like normal.

            “I do think this dream is fake. The dream really might happen, Chris,” I said.

            “Oh,” he said.

            “I just think it might,” I said.

‘           “You might be right about that,” he said.

            “Did you feel anything strange happen to your body,” Chris asked.

            “Yes,” I responded.

            “When?”

            “After you attacked me yesterday,” I responded. I could tell he felt bad about it.

            “I’m sorry. I didn’t want to attack you. I hate that you have to hurt someone you love sometimes,” Chris said in a sensitive tone.

            “That’s sweet. I’m too sensitive to hurt anyone,” I said as we walked into the school.

            “You’re right well see you later,” he said. Before we walked away our communication devices went off. We both got a message saying that there will be an attack at the school. We both ran to the back of the school. Monsters started to come after me and Chris held his arm in front of me.

            “Aimi, you have to make a run for it,” he said.

            “Okay,” I said. He activated his powers to ward off the monsters.

            I started to run and all of a sudden I fell on the ground. I had run into someone. I kicked the air above me and heard an ow. A guy was floating above me. Chris came a few minutes later. When he got there he stared at the scene.

            “What are you doing here,” Chris asked.

            “Having fun with your little friend her,” said the mysterious guy.

            “Leave her alone and fight me,” Chris said.

            “Fine then,” the guy said. I was confused at what was going on.

            “Chris, who is this exactly,” I asked him.

            “This is Ken, he is a member from the other organization that is after you,” Chris answered.

            “Oh well I’m off then,” I said and run off. Ken didn’t follow me. He was busy fighting Chris.

            I met up with Michael because he was running towards me.

            “Are you okay,” he asked me.

            “I am okay and are you okay,” I asked Mike.

            “I’m okay as well as you. Let’s get out of here. Chris contacted me asking to take you back to the base,” Mike said,

            “You’re saying you are here to protect me,” I asked.

            “That’s why I’m here,” Michael said.

            “I don’t need your protection or anyone else’s,” I said. His jaw dropped to the floor and then he straightened out.

            “I am a tough girl, but none of you would know that. Chris doesn’t know how tough I can be although I don’t like fighting. I can become strong if I wanted to,” I said. Michael had a scowl on his face and he just sighed.

            “Fine do it your way although Elena wants me to protect you as well as Chris. I guess I have no choice, but to do this,” he said. He picked me up and put me over his shoulder.

            “Put me down you idiot,” I said in his ear.

            “I am not an idiot,” he said.

            “Fine then you are a moron,” I said. He sighed and brought me inside the base. The base wasn’t far from my house. It was about five minutes away.

            “She gave me problems, Elena,” he said to her.

            “I can see that put her down,” Elena said. He dropped me on the couch next to him. I looked at him with a glare and he didn’t even look at me. He kept looking straight in front of him.

            “You are very rude,” I said to Michael.

            “Why thank you,” Mike said.

            “You are still a moron,” I said.

            “Why you little…,” he said. He wasn’t able to finish his sentence because I slapped him in the back of the head. I wanted him to shut up.

            “What was that for,” he asked.

            “For what were you about to say moron,” I said.

            “I am not a moron,” Mike said.

            “Then prove it in a fight,” I responded.

            “No, I’m not hitting a girl,” he said.

            “Wimp,” I whispered.

            “What did you say,” he asked.

            “You are a wimp,” I said.

            “How dare you,” he said.

            ‘Aimi, don’t you like Michael,” Elena said.

            “I do, but he is just being a wimp,” I said. That made Mike pretty angry.

            “Prepare to die,” Michael said activation his power. I activated my power and then we started our fight.

            He shot balls of power at me and I dodged them. I jumped into the air. I came back down and punched him in the stomach repeatedly. He fell onto his knees and I read his thoughts.

            ‘Why is this girl so strong,’ he thought to himself.

            “I am strong because I practiced just in case I got into a fight with someone. I needed to please my parents. They didn’t want me to get hurt,” I said answering the question in his mind. He was on his feet after a second. After the second round of power that Mike blasted at me, I activated powers that none of us knew I had.
