The Rain Fell Down

I lie on my bed
Staring at the ceiling
City light floods my floor
Suddenly raindrops hit the balcony
They sound like little fingers hitting drums
I roll my eyes to the beat
And I fall into a deep slumber

Beautiful job, for some reason ive always had an easier time falling asleep during a rainstorm, theres just something about rain thats so peaceful,comforting and stable. You have managed to convey all that in a short peace, cheers =)
