PATTERN OF PERFECTION

PATTERN OF PERFECTION

A Poem by Eddie Phillips

I love you she whispered
into the ether before time
A hint of what was to be
The unknown dawning of the sublime

I knew her when I saw her
the physical idealism of my heart
That delicate pattern of perfection
She transfixed me from the start
Coupled in our conversation
niether could deny what kismet's done
As our souls rose in pure elation
knowing they had found the one.

Destiny is pattern
it is linked throughout all time
and loving you is natural
It's Heaven confirming that your mine
So as we lay here in consummation
of this love that had to be
I whisper simply "I love you"
Knowing God made you just for me.

I very much liked this line:

A hint of what was to be
The unknown dawning of the sublime

You coin words together perfectly! Great job!

This makes me think if the saying, "we must not find the perfect person, we must see a un-perfect person perfectly" it's something like that haha. I love your poem and picture!! it's all so sweet
