The demise truly Western!

Poles apart we are,

yet joined by a mystical Star.

Fate and destiny ~ there for you, for me

bringing us closer in perfect harmony.

i agree....lots of warmth and simplicity in this smooth rhyming read for me ... especially like the second couplet as vibrations are fundamental to that voice ..love the connection you drew in that ... its also remotely titillating ;)
the 5th couplet seems, to me, a little out of place as it implies the differences of East and Western culture and places the demise on the West ... i am probably way off your mark but the verse did cause me to pause and think a bit ... in lieu of such love distance and culture have no meaning eh!? enjoyed the soft and uplifting love poem ...very gentle stuff says i!

They call me a dreamer...and maybe i am eh! Exploring all possibility of joining east to West in an imaginary but dreamlike state. A lot of what I writ is a mixture of dream and reality. Do forgive me ~ as long as it makes sense to my reader I am happy... keeps me going too!
