Say a prayer since we're here again

In this same situation

Laying here under the sun

Watching the clouds go by

 

Break down the walls that hold us back

Since we're not going to let them hold us in

Let's not let this chance just slip away

Since we’re already drowning in sin

 

There's no way we're allowed to go back

Since there's no chance that tomorrow'll come

Please just stay here by my side

Since we can't take the chance to run

 

We’re not the kids we were anymore

So let's take our one fighting chance

And break down those god-forsaken walls

Before we fall back into their hands

 

Had you known we'd be in this mess

Would you still have taken the risk

Let's take the last chance we'll ever know

And get the hell out of this

 

We're in for something big

And this could be something huge

So why are we holding back

When we've got so little to lose

 

Just sit back and watch 
Let me pave a path you've never seen

I've got no clue where this could lead

But I want to see this happy ending

This is my first poem in a while. I guess I suddenly felt like writing :) I think it's been almost 4 months since I've written something, so have mercy on it. Hopefully this is the end of the writersblock.

Great format; your rhyme scheme, word flow, language and tone all work in sync together. Your vocab is so clear, too, I can understand your message and everything you're saying. Only thing is your last line sounds sort of out of place, kind of forced.
But overall, great work.
