Due to my lifelong avoidance of the cold white stuff, I'm not sucked into your imagery one bit. So many clever phrasings here: "slush on command" . . . "frostbite the inevitable" . . . you are always on a rarefied poetic orbit which everyone loves (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

It's my pleasure to read you... We all have pains deep buried, so can relate..
dearest Jacob... you have a way with expressions that
describe the Seasons and the impact on our emotions.
We all experience Frostbite in one form or another.
The truth does melt in your Arms; however love does warm
your heart, especially in February ... Valentines Month.

Sometimes I feel like dropping in the Café, and when I do, I usually "sit at your table" because your poetry is smooth. That is not exactly a professional term we use to describe poetry, but what I mean is that your writing reads like you have put in the 10,000 hours one supposedly needs to master a skill. It's like listening to an accomplished pianist improvise a tune. It's pleasant, professional, and they make it look easy...in other words, their stuff is "smooth."
This form of poetry should be called a Tundra, I feel an ice age coming! Yes with writer’s block even the sun cannot cure the event but maybe shed some light on the matter.
we must have some spectral connection you were writing about slipping on ice and I was writing about tripping in puddles this morning:) LOL perhaps we are both in need of ambulatory assistance as I scrape the mud from my soaked pants:/
