a Washington Whistle Stopped

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

a Washington Whistle Stopped

transcending abomination in their minds

speakers' twisted words

the flow ebbed

imbedded disagreement and posture

they should all be put out to pasture.

Hell yes....the Democrats as well as the Republicans who have had government jobs for 20 or 30 years....and some even more. They are so out of touch with their constituents. Lydi**

They can’t agree on anything and lie about everything. They all should have to sit in the s**t they created in the pasture

well put. short but packing a powerful punch squarely between the eyes perhaps a sucker punch. true motives unknown. the squeaky wheel gets the oil. they don't need to stop near me, they can just pass on by - no loss for me, nothing much to see ... :)

It's definitely politicians! What profession twists words more than them? It's an ugly game for ugly people only out for themselves. On that note, perhaps we'll join online and bid on a Hunter Biden masterpiece of art? That is another twist in the tale! "We're gonna need a bigger paddock....", for a little twist on the famous Jaws line. I enjoy your political musings. Even from afar where my own politicians are just as inept. 💛

You know this had a political feel about it J. Posturing and disagreements sound like politicians causing trouble. Not sure J, but muse says yes :) Blame her if it's wide off the mark. Hasn't Merkel been paying you a visit this week?

Interesting when poetry portends the future. Also like the Simpsons!
