Time's passage through a figment of mountain rainA Poem by jacob erin-cilbertoTime's passage through a figment of mountain
rain trifles tears over little nothings when a life hangs in the balance three roads barricaded there is a detour if they may find it under the bypass the pavement widens existence is a heavy load wheels aged of tread beeps heard over eerie silence eyes under lids wanting to rouse look in the rear view of memories still hoping to drive towards more trifles tears over little nothings anything of second chance breaths the toll paid everything is fresh scenery when the world wakes skidding to alert.
