A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

whisper

give me as many today's

as tomorrow will allow

vast mileage

to learn

and then die

with the secret

as if I were the only one

who knew

and then selfishly kept it

from even, myself.

Unlocking life's secrets can be a daunting task. If we are not are not part of the inner circle of The Divine, it is hard to know the inner workings.
An excellent contemplating poem sir Jacob.

You are welcome 😊.
I have an idea, Jacob. Instead of an outline for a final chapter, start writing a book of secrets.
Every today has many possibilities
Even death has possibilities.
I was watching The Librarians (don't laugh either) and in the last frame of the last episode of season 1, the librarian and guardian open the magic door to save the world again and the guardian says, "Do you know what's on the other side?"
and the Librarian says, "No. isn't it wonderful?"
That's how i see death, just a door.

The today here comes across as being special. The tomorrows are always a question mark. We don't know how long we will live for, so each today is important secrets or not. Thought provoking piece J.

Depending on how you look at it, we cannot know how many days tomorrow will allow us, although we naturally want it to be as many as possible. Maybe it's a good thing after all. I would hate to know the date of my death; the final countdown would be unbearable.

I guess if you can't tell anyone, yourself is the best first person to start with. It does make you think...if there were only todays, many of them would there be a need for secrets? Because who would care tomorrow if there weren't any?
