an outhouse call

an outhouse call

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

an outhouse call

downplay the sceptics of it all

but the manure laden capitol

is out of tissue

and derrieres cannot be scrubbed clean

when the noses need to be exhumed first

and the dead night

shines darkest in the hallowed halls

where "no" is the only moon

seen in the blackest eyes

with no glint of compassion

just a blink of apathy

and a sordid moving on.

As I see it, a deep unacceptable feeling of the "going's on at Capital Hill...this is so sardonic and a slam at those who want to be in power... they are disgusting liars and conspiracy believers..."The manure laden Capital is out of tissue"...love that line...compassion less a-holes....whose only word is NO... so pathetic..it makes me MAD!!!! (Are they pushing that many papers (toilet or not?)
Great piece J.

As election day is upon us, I really wonder what will be after the votes are tallied. Will both sides accept the outcome? Will anything actually change? Hopefully we will be able to push both extremes to the middle and bring some sanity back. Good one. Lydi**

I doubt anything will change....they are too busy fighting against each other to help the Americans .. read more
How appropriate! The politicians "dump" on the taxpayers, and it's about time that the taxpayers "dump" them. I am so tired of all the B. S. coming out of Washington. I agree with another reviewer, it's time for a "royal flush." Well done!

thank you, Linda...yes, it is time.
I think that something so frightening written with humor, even sardonic humor, becomes even blacker. But it is empowering to sneer at what is wrong and take a stand.

And I thought Washington was nothing but a bunch of paperwork...maybe it is. But it makes you wonder, who changes the tube when it runs out and how much does it cost us? Maybe we should ask the Commode in Chief.
Kind of speak to me my friend.

It certainly ain’t the Whitehouse anymore.put them all in the outhouse and give them a royal flush before we are all in deep s;:t and before they fight over the remaining dunny paper.

Power corrupts unfortunately. Just words no actions seems to be the policy.
Outhouse Call. I really like this one JEC. Very true, i especially enjoy the creative "exhumation" of the noses. Quite right. Politics & crap. Two big gov components lol

I think there is much that could be done if we elected those who want to do rather than find blame, who would share rather than shelter the nation's wealth, and believe that progress is not a matter of won't but of our will to move forward.
