Your description ‘held, chaotic’ is excellent. So many places are suffering under a yoke like this. The world seems upended in many ways.

And even though you are telling us about Kashmir, you are also saying something that extends beyond borders and can be relevant to many around the world trying to surmount or make sense of suffering and cruelty. It’s a troubling reality.

Thanks. :)
You're right. The world is in deep trouble, indeed.
Indeed those not caught up in such dilemmas cannot fathom the depth of suffering and angst. An apt statement in short verse. One small syllable extra in the second line which at present is 8 instead of 7.

Yes perhaps that could be.
A Pakistani friend was just educating me about this, texting this morning. You are amazingly artful in your expression, given this must impact life in dramatically tough ways! Your first line is an exquisite blend of hoping for peace in the middle of dark chaos. Last line is nicely symbolic (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

You're very welcome. :-)))
wow, you pack a punch with this one, Fairy...
a strong political statement in senryu...
and what a line to end it..."at the perfect blood" wonderful use of oxymoron.

Thanks a lot, Jacob. Although, it’s more of a haiku than a senryu.
Sad but i see no near future where Kashmir is paradise again. Sad
