The end of ands.

The end of ands.

A Poem by Fairy Khan

and the fury of my wrath

will destroy all your dreams,

and I'll sit on your throne

and watch you turn into ruins,

and I'll wreck your soul

better than you did mine,

and the catastrophe of death

will rain upon you all,

and on your knees you'll pray

to cease what just began to fall,

and then you'll ask your gods

for nothing but to let you drown,

your kingdom will be at my mercy

and I'll wear your crown.

Nothing like a good ‘dis’ poem to get things out in the open... pure catharsis, sometimes!!! Really enjoyed the smash, the authenticity, and the last five or so lines let them know they are past the point of no return!!!

Wicked, girl. Lovely write!!!

Wow! A small dose of invective delivered in a silver arrow of a poem that flows in demonic spittle as the protagonist relishes victory.

this is so intense Fairy! my favorite so far!! I would like to see those lines being voice-out by an actor in a movie

Thanks a lot, Tina.
Oh this is just lovely. Doesn't it feel good to write a nice hit piece every once in a while? And this is one is particularly good.

i see where you`re coming from, Fairy.....REVENGE!!!!....for the destruction of your world of make-believe, presumably. Revenge is never as sweet as when delivered unexpected to the recipient, but without some of your magic dust, Fairy, all this is just a rant . I wish you well. P.

I love the juxtaposition between your title & your use of "and" . . . just often enuf to make a point, but not constantly, which would be distracting. I love how this poem made me think on the micro level, such as one person destroying another, but also I was thinking on the macro level, with one set of circumstances destroying another . . . such as in the USA these days, we seem to have those with a mindset bent on destroying all that used to be good about this country. I know you didn't write this about US politics, but it's hard not to read it this way, becuz of how you express such routine (ho-hum!) ruthlessness and this resembles a steady diet we've had here for the past four years (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

This is a wonderfully well written fantasy.

A good, feisty and determined tone in this one. Very focused on lynching the adversary. Lot of energy felt and not necessarily negative. I feel a lot like this many times. Very relatable.
