Claret Addictions

Claret Addictions

A Poem by Frieda P

we mingle breath,
 you bleed me with life
your sweet essence

running through
 every vein of my being
you exhale and my chest heaves

you taint me with your fluid
then lick it from my backbone

weakened by pumping reperations
i'm illicit liquid at your feet
your scars deepen my pain

i seek out antidotes for
this affliction
to alleviate my addiction

all for naught

under your spell
  whimsy, death and hallelujah

poisonous mushroom
 winds slam into me
when your day turns somber

crimson between us adulterates
me muted granite

 my cry of blood tears
afraid to venture into the realm
of a time when you cut me out

i exist to transpire...
compulsion of desire overrules
need for my own life supply
breathe your scarlet air
 until the dark tsunami

toxoid venom in the veins
 of lustful anticipations
for now i'll sip your blood
 and languish

in the pools of your desires
under your spell
of fatal attraction
till you cut/

 the bane
 of my

 existence

Funny how poetry had turn to vision and sound. My next step will be you tube. I like the way you led the reading in this poem. I like the closing line. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

i just started reading your writing, and might i say you are brilliant. This was dark, and it echos painful desire, wanting what is causing you anguish. I really love this, thanks for sharing

well this is very waxy Wichita, with swords and the tv in the background playing dark shadows, i love the dark overtones you implode into, the sex is a beast to taunting with feverish thrusts, you bust through climax at the end like the lubrication of rust, only one whom thinks inside your realms of existence can really attune the atonement used...great piece

I first thought this was going to be dirty...sexy? But no..it is so much more. Human love lust and emotion mixed up in poisoned confusion of bodily fluid and blood. We love to live...but sometimes we die by loving too much.

Ha I guess you could say I have! Thanks so much for reading Sheema
Are all irresistible ones invariably dark internally...or is it my sole opinion? Coz they leave a trail of tears and pain almost every time.

A greatly sexy poem but full of the promise of pain.
My compliments to you for the complete portrayal of the agony ecstasy relationship. 100/100

You my dear have been watching too many vampire and zombie movies lol! It reads well but I find if difficult and I cannot agree with much of the sentiment.

Cool. Red wine is truly intoxicating . . . especially when you're in love. Sounds like this is a marvelous vintage
