Sea Swells

Sea Swells

A Poem by Frieda P
"

My muse was Star's lovely painting...

"
My thoughts drift
             out to sea
like a lovely butterfly
 in flight
salt air fills my senses
              with elation
i feel you breathe
at the nape of my neck
your fingers stroking
            through my hair
my body dances
  like the peaks of waves

   Your strong hands awash
 over my breasts
heaving in surrender,
as a sigh of Ecstasy rises
sweet feather touch of  my petals
    like an ocean roar
ripples my pulse plunging
           deeper waves release

I dabble my soul into the florid
   tidal of our rapture
thoughts of your return
               turn my body deliquescent
     fiery flow like majestic crests
      swell within me

~etch our names in the timeless
 traces of hourglass sand~

are you having a steamy week my love? this is positively filled with the essence of passionate embrace and divine sensuality. to quote one of my favorite actors "that's the stuff that dreams are made of" . it seems you are bent on making every man on here a quivering mass of steaming flesh....my toes are smoking, and they are too young to smoke! i love your passionate writes, miss posies!

Wonderful painting. I can see how one may be moved by it. The color of you font reflects the sea :3 I love how the last stanza's black. It has a dramatic effect. And your words are really sweet.

I don't know how to put it...this piece just comes to me at a good time...in the wake of all the well-documented things swirling around my head this week, it is nice to sit back and read a piece of uninhibited romance, or flat-out lust, I don't know...I'm still not quite in the frame of mind to decipher which one it is haha Lovely words though, and a lovely mental movie it evokes ;)

A simply lovely use of words.

The sea as a metaphor for Love; we see it, we think we know it, but there is so much more going on underneath. Sometimes it rages, sometimes it is calm, sometimes it seems endless, sometimes it is bounded by dark dangerous-looking islands.
A good choice of vehicle for your thoughts, feelings.
