~an old rant that still holds true

Pun is blinding me in your lies

the party's over, I took part of the blame

you keep slapping me with jim beam knocks out

screwed me over again in front of friends

thought I knew you, but you're a stranger now

your cherry facade is such a farce

how dare you speak of peace & love

your poetry is like a coffee enema

you drew first blood and kept the blood flowing

why don't you show them your true colors

yellow like the beer you guzzle 

preaching like a choir boy is an insult 

slip your sloppy a*s back in your bottle of booze

isn't that where you bought your truth

down for the count, it's only a matter of time

before you blow your own cover

you wouldn't know love

 if it punched you upside the head

thanks for the lesson of a lifetime

cheers, now go drown in your sorrowful toilet

where you usually hang your head

Girl, when you swing a 2x4, you really swing it. Glad I was standing back when I read this one, that would've hurt. I do however know exactly what you are saying and it is unfortunate that an older rant can still be relevant. Remind me never to get on your bad side. Very cool my friend.

Regardless of when you've written these recent posts, you're posting stuff that I can relate to deeply as anything you've ever written. This poem took me back to one humiliating incident in particular which I've re-written in my mind since, and now carries an NC-17 rating. I hate those people so much and I will never forgive them for what they did to my psyche. I've never recovered and I never will. Damn it. Anyway the poem is brilliant...I can't even single out any particular lines, there are too many I love. Great work Mrs.R :)
