Stunning collaboration, Frieda and Jack both!! Both of you have composed some incredible imagery for this piece (which I happen to be partial to in poetry).

Jack, I love your "dark side," so to speak, with its "deeper shade of black devoured your soul." And just as much, Frieda, I love your "light side," with its "fireflies flicker," and "tears evaporate in reflected heat," and "dawn's sweet zephyrs on jeweled beams." What an intense combination of positive/negative images, so romantic, loving, and adventurous!!! Ooh, I'm just gushing. :-P

I love the style in which you painted this .. Its not often you see right alignment.. It really added to the strength of this piece.. I take it the right alignment was your idea Frieda? Yes I recognized the darker side as yours immediately... .. Jack is the romantic and you are more on the darker side of grey sometimes.. Great job you guys..

Hi Frieda and Jack. A beautiful write and collaboration piece. Dark and light, contrasted beautifully in this piece. The darkness of the soul that paints those within its thrall; the light, that heals and showers love drawing the one from the darkness to the light. Good personification of the moon - there was no power in it to thwart the darkness. The magic of the fireflies - lighting and enlightening the darkness through the healing power of love and romance colored through nature as dawn breaks and hope is on horizon. Lovely depth of feeling. Good word choice. Well penned and a most enjoyable read. Write on!

caress indigo butterfly wings in silken softness

this was penned from the throes of despair and ending with feathered sonnets and illumination of the heart Gorgeous you two...:)
