Heartbeats Tanka

Heartbeats Tanka

A Poem by Frieda P

Our blood pumps as one
as our hearts beat together

~transference of bliss~

relegation to commit

entrusted in conviction

“If you love me as you say you do,' she whispered, 'make it so that I am at peace.”

This is how true love is...at least I believe it should be. This is what true love is right?

Ana amazing tanka with one of my favorite Tolstoy quotes and a photo I will not soon forget! What a wonderful package this is. Indeed, when the ones you love are happy and at peace, so are you. Lydi**

I absolutely love this one! Love is a wonderful thing, and to share it with someone on the same page....well, there is nothing like it.

This captures oneness of love in its truest sense...Such elegant words. Love that quote too! Lovely job, my friend.

Very nicely penned my sweet friend. Love is an amazing emotion, especially when two live and breathe as one.

Transference of bliss - a give and take, mutual in nature - so hard for mere humans to maintain... Perfect song choice, though I am a huge Janis fan. :)
