Silent Pain

Silent Pain

A Poem by Frieda P
"

Another great photo prompt from the noodlebumble, thanks! ♥

"
Silent pain screams volumes
in the middle of the night
it blares like a herald'd trumpet
by day its sound blatantly echoes
lost the words to speak
or convey the angst within
stuck in a flutterby's cocoon
with no metamorphosis in sight

Nothing is quite as frightening as midnight thoughts, as you so put it. They have no meaning, they have no pattern nor will they be able to be fathomed into recognizable constellations. The thoughts just exist, let themselves be known in deafening silence that could probably drive a person to insanity. Well done, fine portrayal indeed.
Might I also say the visual aid only enhanced my personal emotions drawn from the poem? The poem and the picture compliment each other well.

Painful silence is torture, simply put. You really painted a truly claustrophobic and dark picture here. Awesome metaphor with the cocoon and metamorphosis! Always entertained and impressed. This one here packed a powerful punch. Nice write.

Frieda been long since I reviewed your work, how have you been. well, silent pain, this can be from heartache to toothache and this kinds of pain come late at night when everyone is asleep and you are left alone with your pain. You did it so well and as usual, I loved it

One of my favorite songs of Leonard Cohen, sweet Frieda, well done,
And your words... I feel the missing the pain in them... the dark, and you,
the loneliness, the fear, but yet, there is light... I know there is...

Silent pain, is the one, that is there now and then,
and you, are it's translator... Perfection in this one my dear...

What may be silent to us is "heard" by those that love us. xo

Words to fear, to hide from, because there's nothing worse than loneliness wrapped in fears you can't push away. You try, we try, the more the effort, the weaker the resolve to survive. A vicious circle. More than sad, Frieda.

And as silent as that pain is, it does have a unique tune for everyone...

This is beautifully delivered, as always sweet

Perhaps a fear of the dark ?

A pleasing, pleasurable, psychosis, penned poetically !
