Silent Pain

Silent Pain

A Poem by Frieda P
"

Another great photo prompt from the noodlebumble, thanks! ♥

"
Silent pain screams volumes
in the middle of the night
it blares like a herald'd trumpet
by day its sound blatantly echoes
lost the words to speak
or convey the angst within
stuck in a flutterby's cocoon
with no metamorphosis in sight

Nothing is quite as frightening as midnight thoughts, as you so put it. They have no meaning, they have no pattern nor will they be able to be fathomed into recognizable constellations. The thoughts just exist, let themselves be known in deafening silence that could probably drive a person to insanity. Well done, fine portrayal indeed.
Might I also say the visual aid only enhanced my personal emotions drawn from the poem? The poem and the picture compliment each other well.

The unspoken pains are the real demons...
Yet, here is where poetry steps in. We san let the pressure off the steaming pressure of the silence we carry around within the daily activities of being "normal" in our everyday lives.
It is worse when there is so much confusion between the monsters and the protector...
Maybe there are some things we will not understand or clearly define in this life.

There is so much pain that we keep locked inside, in the dark. This is our crutch to bear, or at least we think it is. Hide it from every one and deal with it when our lives are quiet...so very sad to hold this, release can be very helpful...find the light and let go of your fears.

Very cool my sweet friend. You have captured the photo perfectly in your poem today.

Powerful poetry conveying potent pain, trapped within. The awesome artwork just served to enhance your spell-binding words. You have another winner on your hands Frieda! Heart applause!

That is one creepy image - and you have captioned it perfectly. I am moved to pity for these unfortunate souls with "no metamorphosis in sight"... You paint the picture for our souls to see, Frieda.

the pain screams and only we can hear it in our heart.

Suffering in silence is overrated. Don't yell; don't threaten but make sure they hear you. Fabulous write.

An excellent poem of creativity born of imagery, dear poet.
How marvelous it would be to follow you around a museum of art with a box of pencils and a ream of paper. It would, perhaps, be a day of creativity on steroids.
