Green Grass Dreamcatcher

Green Grass Dreamcatcher

A Poem by Frieda P

i want to wake up in your arms at 3 AM
whilst a hurricane is raging            within
those turbulent clouds and find my momentum
spiraling in heavy bays and raging gales
rotating around damaging unleashed surges
destructive force that slam'd unto my heart

i want to be your green grass dream catcher
                   & capture mockingbird lullaby's

And I want to live within your beautiful and enchanting poetry. I want to wake each day with a new stanza to greet me. I want the sunrise to whisper your words to me as it rises in the east. Nothing could be better in my mind. This is gorgeous, stunning and the kind of thing true dreams are made of. Amazing dear poet, you mesmerize me always.

Nothing like some snuggling in the midst of a raging storm. I love this one dear heart. It's honest and full of clear emotion. Very well done.

the metaphor that exists between love and the natural world is one you portray so well in this piece, the co-existence of both is almost inevitable, great work as ever.

Hey Traci, good to see ya again, thanks so much my sweet friend!
Okay, this is probably one of my faves of yours, especially the title. Now, maybe I am just nuts, or way more observant, or fail to see where someone else has pointed it out, but is it supposed to be whist or whilst?

to me this feels more erotic and passionate as anything I have read lately. I could go out for a cigarette and whiskey...if I did either any longer. :) I could simply burst..and then your music eases me back down to earth. Masterful!

I've read a couple of your poems now. I like them, and the words are very pretty, but it does seem a little overembellished, somehow-- I have trouble knowing what they actually mean.

Love, love, love this. I have a confession to make, I read this more than 10 times. I also read it out to my Gran and she loved, so you're getting a bonus from your little peanut tonight! ;-)

You blew me away with these two lines, killer ending that could have me landing in your wee hoose in 2 hours. ;-) HA!

I must admit, I do love a good, evil storm.

I think we need boots for this one. So hunter wellies & all that jazz! xo
