a still'd flutterd touch ~A Poem by Frieda Pofttimes ponderDays rush by in languish'd recall, repeatedly wonder where you've gone dancing heart quietly screams to me, retreated from this world in hushed desperation to all with a disparate blind eye's view
My soul aches in your broken innocence my mind wanders aimlessly sweetness of breath expir'd too soon in suffocating vile secrets restraint
Remembrances in those ashen remains of still photographs nectar'd memories of life still standing a note to be read between the blurred lines silence'd of an inner demon
A butterfly touch'd upon my arm the day you fled fluttered by without a chase simply made its presence of aw'd beauty's reality, it held no secrets told nary a lie just the wondrous freedom of flight
I ofttimes ponder, are you in that place where dreams never die & painted skies beckon dreams of butterflies' passage drifting amidst the iridescence of butterscotch cloudbursts
