Tu sei la mia eternità, il mio cuore

Tu sei la mia eternità, il mio cuore

A Poem by Frieda P
"

you are my eternity, my heart

"
My obsession's Italian
     savory & nectar'd dream,
   endearment's rhyme
under the Ponte dei Sospiri
   like the embrace of
              sweet vino's taste,
tell me why the earth spins
         alive in your presence
why my spirit soars to new heights,
    and I'm left breathless still
 in your whisper'd desire,
              aching in your rapture
you smile and my sun rises,
the mere touch of your hand
           sets me on fire
  I yearn for your tenderness,
                  every moment
     breathe for your passion,
           dance amidst your fervor
    surrender to your rhythm,
    moons and stars
        pale in your eyes,
    I'm lit from within
            an ocean of emotions,
          you are the lover
            of which my reality aspires,
                 the wanton poetry
                 of my muse's affection,
    Tu sei la mia eternità,
                               il mio cuore

The fire of breathing passion from an encounter that sounds very promising. The dimension of all things Italian adds to this descriptions as it would be logical to think of romance, arts, good food all things beauty, Oh, I could keep going but the writing is not about Italy is about another human being and the effects upon Frieda. Just the touch of hand sparks fire! I can only imagine then when is just a little more than hands that touch each other. The lover of which my realities aspire. A little left with questions thought because this can also be understood as the presence of an IT . Whichever way one wants to entertain this the outcome is of openess, creativity, passion and love and lust for life.

What could be better? good times ahead.

Thankyou

OOH this one is romantic. The heart of the italians well renowned round the world. It must be the wine. However there is something about the itaian women the fire in them that is very appealing they seem to grab a mans thoughts and shake him to the core till they wring the very water from his soul and leave him a dry shell upon the floor. And yet they keep coming back for more lol

This transported me to Italy on a grey dreary Monday and now I don't want to come back. Your words are sensual and romantic but they aren't limited to a person...I could just as easily get the feeling from the atmosphere of the perfect place. And the music...sighhhhh....made me sway and dance. x

Absolutely lovely, Frieda. Italy is indeed a beautiful destination, and the music accompanies your words perfectly. ;)

this is beautiful poetry. the alliteration - the lush words. I read it out loud. Yup. dreaming of villas and gently rolling hills now...
Splendiferous.

This is beautiful Frieda, it has the feel of a love letter to it every line speaks of your desire for the one you love , so much emotion, so much passion its exquisite, I see Vino managed to get a mention too, a delight to behold, lucky the love to receive these words from you. :)

Simply amazingly beautiful Frieda... I think when your "spirit soars" you affect everyone, most especially the one written for.... each line is emotionally charge with "obsession's Itailan", each word tastes of vino.. and the view is of the blue-skied Adriatic where the earths rotational spin can be found..

Monday morning sunrise and the week, hell the rest of life feels enchanting.... you sure know how to make a heart beat faster...

Your poetry often leaves me wishing for things Mrs.R...wishing I could dance, wishing I was Italian, wishing I could at least speak a little of it, enough to impress you anyway ;) I am not afraid to say that I envy the one to whom this is addressed, if it is addressed to anyone...if it isn't, I still envy whatever image brought this magnificent ode to light...what man would not to be 'the lover of which your reality aspires' upon reading this, or anything you write for that matter? I love what you do with nature...the moon and stars, the ocean...you just have a way of bringing it to life...it's a cliche, but love really is in the air when you're in this mindset...I wish a had a better review for this, you know I like to offer more unique insights than this, but I guess I've made my point just the same ;) xo
