Here it comes!

Here it comes!

A Poem by G. K. Bostic

The New Year comes, ready or not

Time to reflect on what we've got.

Time to plan for a better year

Time to wish all good cheer

Life goes by so very fast

So many good years already past

It can't be stopped; time keeps on moving

It keeps on flying and keeps on proving

We have no choice, take it or leave it

So I'll take it and love it; you'd better believe it!

Best Resolution

simple and as effective as potent sleeping gas.
I always stop by for a shot of G.K. before the windown for a big fat smile and some homemade cookies.

Thanks again

Wonderful little rhyme scheme- it was wonderfully consistent, but never dominated your words, and lent a great tone. Well done! :)
