When I open my eyes, you are the brilliance, the radiance of a sunrise,

You are everything that I could wish for, you are God's blessing,

Shared with many who know you, but no-one knows you completely - as I do,

And deep down, life would be meaningless without you to cherish.

It was hope of healing I wished, and you came to me - watchful and caring,

With an unconditional heart and passion, you are the promise of devotion I need,

You are the truest friend that gives air to my life, you are the good within this dark world,

And every second I spend with you my heart races, beating with yours as if we were one.

Your beauty, soft lips, golden hair and the emerald pools of your eyes are the jewels I seek,

I yearn to share my heart’s destination, laced with the promise of my passion with you,

And nothing will be left in reservation, as I place in your hands my joy, my love, my desire, my sorrow,

All my thoughts, all my feelings will be touched by your gentle heart, made whole by your soul.

I don't know how or when, but I will find you again - I will save you with the whispers of my breath,

Years of longing, of wanting will be released - no more temporary fixes as the two of us will be rejoined,

It will be worth the wait as the beacon of you shines through the night and enlightens my way home,

Serenading me with a crescendo of anticipation toward you - my intimate token, my treasure of heaven....
