Naked Soul

disappearing voices echo in the changing room of my memories

 

I take them off my heart like clothes that hold my body too tight

 

naked, my soul stands in front of million mirrors

 

what I see takes my breath away

 

slowly I choke - the tears drowning me from the inside

 

 

how can a heart be so filled with fire that its own agony feels like ecstasy

 

how can a heart feel so cold with just one single flame missing...

 

the answers dance encircling closley the flickering wall of heat

 

if I look deeply inside to see the truth

 

I will burn

 

 

I stand motionless and breathless

 

your eyes reflected in the mirrors

 

your words echoing back from the walls of my heart

 

white all-consuming ocean of love envelops me slowly but surely

 

soon there will be no "me" left

 

soon I will breathe through your mouth

 

I will feel through your skin

 

I will desire through your eyes

 

soon...

 

 

When the dawn awakes the sun

 

and the first ray of light kisses our faces

 

naked, my soul will stand in front of yours

 

without a doubt

 

without second thoughs

 

without safety measures

 

losing myself completely

 

I will come up into your arms

 

and you will hold me
