WHISPERING LOVE

WHISPERING LOVE

A Poem by KATHY SUE SILLS
"

a love shown other ways instood of by voice!

"

He doesn't say he loves me with words.

It's the little things he does,

like when he smiles at me,

his dimples shine so bright.

Whispering love is what I feel!

He doesn't say he loves me with words.

But when he touches me so gentle,

and holds me so tight,

Whispering love is what I feel!

He doesn't say he loves me with words.

Until that day he bent down on one knee.

The ring sparkled so bright in the sunlight.

He whispered marry me.

And whispering love was what I felt!

Excellent thought. I love the way this poem ended, sealing the bonds of whispering love with an everlasting proposal.

Both words and actions are so important in relationships.

A very enchanted whimsical piece.
Who needs words when actions speak
volumes...Nicely done.

What a lovely, sweet, poem! Love can be expressed in many ways while the words "I love you" are often said, by some, with very little true feeling behind them. I really enjoyed reading it. Beautiful flow and great sentiment throughout this poem.

Sweet sentiment.. even if it was just a whisper... love the flow, how it rolls about in your mouth, and fills it with a smile.. would have loved for another stanza before falling into the last, giving the poem a little more substance.. Wouldn't it be nice to hear those words spilling forth every once in a while.. Man (woman) does not live on bread alone..
