Her Everlasting

Her Everlasting

A Poem by KATHY SUE SILLS
"

She longs to find her special love.

"

She sats on the sultry beach day dreaming.

The cool salty water dampen her skin as the

water explode into waves.

She's tired of being alone.

Where is her prince charming?

She fantasize plunging deep into the ocean surface,

swiming as a mermaid.

Becoming Arial and finding Eric her human prince.

Her eyes closed she sees it all playing out in her mind.

Her everlasting comes true.

Where is her fairy godmother?

If only she would appear and place her in

the most elegant gown.

Her prince would take her into his embrace,

glide her around the room.

The other girls would look on with envy.

As he become her everlasting love.

She's being held in a masion with a beast.

He's cruel, but yet there's something

intriguing about him.

She's his beauty.

He's her beast.

She falls in love with him,

he with her.

They kiss and he became human,

the spell is broken.

Happy everlasting magically happens.

She brings herself back to reality.

Standing up on a rock she looks out toward

sea one last time.

Her prince no where in sight she turn to leave.

Her foot slips and she falls into strong arms.

Gazing up into blue eyes her voice fails her.

Gently he puts her down.

They stare into each others eyes.

Her fairy tale prince she puts to rest in hopes

that her everlasting has appeared.

Fairy fairy time,
When real worlds
and magic are
but the same
looked with
different eyes.

Very Nice work!! Soft romance, out n out

I hate to sound repetitive, but entirely agree with the grammatical errors - revising them would take this cute poem to the next level I feel.

Fairy tales will never die, not as long as there are writers who are infinitely infatuated with love and romance - very nice.

I agree. If you do decide to edit the grammatical errors, then this could flow really nicely. It sucks being single all the time, so I can relate to how some of the characters feel. I really like how you always try and put so much emotion in to your writing pieces; it makes the reader want to feel what you feel. And I like that about your writing. Keep up the good work

Edit grammatical errors.
Awesome poem. It invokes the fairy tale aura to perfection, while disrupting it from within before it triumphs again.
Good work!
