Time is no more

Trembling hands fold into her lap

Personality whimisical and romantic

Love unraveled at first sight

A guiding light of attraction flowed

Passion and desire weaved into ecstasy

They had floated on clouds of dreams

Making each one a reality

Sunshine spills over each day she has spent with him

She has no regretts

 

Her love for him is unfinished

His love for her has paled

She touchs her wedding ring

Only the imprint of his is visible

 

Dew drop tears threaten to fall

Shards of pain cut the interior of her heart

Words of no regrett echos in her defeated mind

She won't beg him to stay

 

He is on the threshhold of leaving

Mind has been gone

Flesh just living as a ghost

The end has come

 

Her sullens eyes implore him

Suitcase in hand

Back to her

He walks out the door
