Crisis

Serenity in short supply

Stillness of mind lacking

In desperate need of tranquility

As soon as we catch a breath, we find ourselves against the wind. I wonder if we'll ever get back to normal. Praying for serenity to help keep our minds hopeful.

This really speaks to me. A lot of times my depression makes it very difficult to concentrate on things. I liken it to trying to read while the mind is still asleep. It takes several pass through for things to sink into my thoughts. Meditation and finding that peace of mind is an arduous task. This poem is so relatable because of it. Thank you my friend for sharing this work of yours.

We sure are in need...hope waning, smiles elusive during this pandemic.
