Into a strange world!

Into a strange world!

A Poem by jennifer little
"

just another picture i took and turned into a poem ~!

"
   Going over a bridge,
I see a bunny hopping,
He was going over the same bridge as me,
The bridge was wavy looking,
There were weird looking vines,
Beautiful flowers,
This place was oh so magical,
I felt as if this place was my home,
It was oh so beautiful,
It was very colorful,
Then i came across weird looking mushrooms,
They were mushroom homes,
On the top of them they looked as if they were space ships,
It was oh so cool,
I just had to go look at it closer,
Then i had fallen into the water,
The water was oh so deep,
I couldn't swim,
For there was a whorl pool coming ,
And it had sucked me under,
When i came back up i wasn't in the same world,
I was in a whole new world,
I swore i was tripping or something,
I new this couldn't be real,
The world had singing and dancing trolls,
Everything was very colorful,
Oh how this world was so beautiful,
I wanted to stay there and never come back home again.

You have really taken us to the spot...your imagery is vivid. Emotive and well written. The photo is a little difficult to see in the thumbnail size. Maybe you can post it full size at the top of the poem? Lydi*

I like the references to alice in wonderland and there is great a descriptive narrative, i would inject a bit more emotion into it so that it doesn't feel like all but description. In between describing stuff be more specific about what the character feels. Having said that, i like the direction of the story and your descriptive powers are great, this could be a fantastic piece as well, i like it and hope you keep doing fantasy stuff.
