Dear Death

Dear Death

A Poem by JessicaPaigeB
"

First poem I've written in a while.. I hope that you all can relate, and really feel the emotion in this piece.

"
I’ve seen you around.

So Unfair. Conniving. Spontaneous.

You are a thief. A criminal.

Time and time again you make yourself known,

Then fade into the background.

Leaving me wondering. Leaving me worrying.

Just as I reach acceptance you strike anew.

Taking another piece of my heart.

Yet another piece of my mind.

This is perfect. Death always seems unfair, and it's just horrible. I love this, I do, especially the last two lines. They sum it up perfectly.
