A Poem by Joshua Lobdell

This is all about the one thing that is hardest to repair and rebuild...once trust is broken...

Reminded of you

In everything I do

Our little thing

Much more than a fling

Our crazy interplay

How we spent our days

I miss that dynamic

And no I cannot stand it

To be your second fiddle

Jealousy, ya a little

I wanted to believe in her

She felt like the cure

Now I just feel disgust

Since she broke my trust

Can I believe what you say?

The price I would’ve paid

Why can’t we just be?

Can we never again be we?

That makes me very sad

And it is really too bad

That it ended like this

Without a goodbye kiss
