A Chapter by joshua deathdealer
"

11/2011 (Blood type B: Installment Eight)

"
I have stormed these halls more days
     than most have ever seen
Years have blended together into
     a long, blood soaked night
Keen to replace the soul of
a beloved mortal that died before her time

I remember the day her hand
slipped from mine and she rose above the sky
Leaving me alone and forsaken on this doomed plane
Here I have lain in wait for someone
Anyone that bears her similar presence
Many have came and fell into my treacherous traps

I would give anything to just be dead
To awaken from this gray fog that hangs
overhead, however this is just a inanimate dream for me
So I will drink what is left of your precious time
swallowing, greedily, all your sticky hopes for a brighter tomorrow
I will take my vengefulness out on the pulsing vein

that graces the lengths of your throat
Give to me your lifeline and partake in my immortality
Find in me your deepest and darkest desires
Don't be afraid of your destiny, embrace this chance
This accident that is soon to befall you
Lay in my anesthetic hold, forever close your eyes

I love how this could be a destructive relationship of a human seducer/womanizer with a girl, enslaved to his own lust--not merely just vampire lust. It applies to real life as well as fiction. A lot of guys chase after affairs to fill up some void in their lives, as they walk around through empty, gray existences; that's why a true womanizer is, quite literally, a cold-hearted psychopathic "vampire," sucking the love out of others and never able to return it--they've lost the ability to truly love someone. The darkness of this piece isn't really vampiric--it mirrors a human heart. That's why it's so good

This is a fantastically written piece. I love your portrayal of a non-shiny hard core vamp.

I'm a dark romantic at heart. So I enjoyed this very very much. I'd love to be the victim of this hellish blood lust. And EMF is right....you breathe new life in the world of desire, despair, and immortality.
