His creation of she..[just for me]

are you preparing her now

are you gently placing

her locks of hair

and her eyes of amber and green

 

are you installing her love for art

and her passion for poetry

 

will she understand that i do not always rhyme when i write

that i am a free spirited-writer

and that i need quiet time alone to do that

 

will she respect my decisions..

my decisions to wait until we are fully connected

before we continue our erotic adventures

 

will she understand:

that there will always be a place i need to go

to continue my spiritual growth, and
that that will always,
until my dying day..be a part of my life..

 

will she indeed be patient and kind,

accepting of my decision to chose You

over drinking and chaos;

 

that i will rarely ever want to party late nights

that i'd rather sit in stillness

how about:

that i pray to You for Your will to be done

will she too, be willing to accept Your will for guidance

 

that especially on Sunday mornings..
i like to listen to gospel music..
and occasionally throughout the week as well

 

'she will know where i am..how to get to me;

know how to find me..right..?'

 

are you nodding your head..
as i write this prayer and wish of poetry

are You looking at Your checklist

saying..:

 

"You silly girl, I..made you.. 

you know I know what you like,

and you too, will need patience
and remain teachable..and open to compromise.."

 

yes, Father, i can do those things 

oh,..and one more thing...oh never mind...

...You already know.
