Heart & Hands

Heart & Hands

A Poem by Karlie Kadabra.

I'm typing this poem
To the beat of my heart.
My heart and my hands
Form a certain rhythm
That reminds me of you
Playing your guitar,
While I'm silently tapping my foot with the beat.
To the beat of your heart and mine
Combined in perfect synchronization.

I like this, mainly because I am also a musician, and its so easy to get lost in the melody, and when you share it with someone, its definetly a beautiful thing.

Funny enough, there is a rhythm to this that you can almost read the poem to. I truly enjoyed this.

Beautiful! Nothing like watching a cute boy play an instrument or sing. Any instrument, any song. There's just something about it that has always made my heart stop.

Pros: Beautiful, simply beautiful! I adore it :) I can feel the emotion behind it, feel the emotion weaving in and out between the lines. And although it doesn't rhyme, it has a certain flow to it that continues throughout the entire thing. My favorite lines would be the last two before the end. Gorgeous and poetic.

Cons: None.

Overall: I really like this poem. It's a favorite of mine :)
