To feel the lightness of the heart

The pleasent thoughts in your mind

The smiles in you eyes

Joy equals happiness

That can be snatch away in the blink of an eye

Flushed in the evil and darkness

The dampen room of your own Hell

That holds you so sweetly

Whispering lies in your ears

Get a hold of yourself

It's just in your head

Happiness is a choice, isn't it?

At least that's what they say

Choices equals options

Well if that's the case

Why would anyone chose to be unhappy?

Well, just chose to live life to the fullest

Because life is a wonderful thing

What a load of crap

When you look at life and every little detail

It sucks!

Oh, but I'm sorry, no one wants to hear that

Well then don't listen

Very few people do

But that's fine

I'll take what I can get

It's not wise to dwell on past issues

Look to the future

That's what I'm told

Except it's too late

My life is sold

To my mom

To my friends

To the school

To the world

Everyone is held down by expectations

Forcing them to fit in or crack under pressure

But I've heard a proverb

"Only dead fish swim with the stream"

You wanna know what that means?

Shut up and let me live my life
