Hypochondria

Hypochondria

A Poem by Kelly
"

A very personal poem from a panic attack

"

Every pain is a death wish

Each little tinge is the last one

Fear of death is the theme

Yet so much fear kills life

Death is no big deal

But dying is dreadful

I’m caught in the spiral

Swirling in the fear

Don’t let me die

Don’t let me feel ill

Heart, keep beating

Don’t stop beating

Keep breathing

Don’t stop breathing

Paranoid of failure

Pain could become

The loss of control

I can’t micromanage

I have nothing left

But a spiral of fear
