Concealed

Concealed

A Poem by Tai Ryens
"

Some hurt more than others.

"

Sharpened razor awaits

Behind forbidden tongue;

Ready to slice when

Abstained lullaby is sung.

The caged crow knows why its here,

Sing, it really should;

But hollow heart pumps liquid;

Cold as slain blood.

Inside the cage is another enclosure,

In which domestic linguists exist as a brood;

Cheers fail to escape hushed lips,

As the crow wars to keep them mewed.

Reticent carols await the moment

For the crow to croon;

But to spare its own life;

Lyrics must not be sung soon.

This does need to be expanded, I love simplicity. It allows it to be interpreted in many different ways.
