No Wifi?!

No Wifi?!

A Chapter by Lewys Tapscott-Nott
"

Tired from their journey, our protagonists stop off at a hotel.

"

Both Agathe Bolin and Carissa felt tired and wish they would arrive to the hotel quicker.

Finally, they reached the tall hotel,

"It looks old."

Carissa remarks.

"Well, it has been functioning since the 1950s."

"Should we knock?"

"No, I was thinking we could sniff it!

it probably has a wonderful scent."

"I was just asking."

"Well, what do you get when you ask a stupid question?"

"Agathe, were not sharing rooms are we?"

Agathe shakes her head.

"Our money should be able to afford a room each."

Bolin sighs in relief.

"Oh, thank god."

"I heard that!"

The hotel was red, with brown carpet.

At the front of the hotel was two old people, this must be the Jones.

"Get away from here with those eggs you young skippers."

Agathe Bolin and Carissa were confused, eggs, them?

what in heavens name were they on about?

"I'm sorry mister Jones, but I think you have me confused with someone completely different."

"Oh, come on dear, they are not the kids down Poppins Lane!

You need god damn glasses on again!"

"Well, where in god's name are they?"

"They're on top of your head!"

"Oh, right! Thank you dear."

Mister Jones places his glasses on top of his head on his face.

Agathe, Carissa and Bolin come into focus.

"Oh, so they're not!"

Mrs. Jones shakes her head.

"Were would you be without me?"

"I would be eating nothing but tin soups every day."

Mrs. Jones smiles and gives Agathe, Bolin and Carissa their keys.

"Thank you!"

"Yes, cheers!"

"Have a happy marriage!" Bolin says.

The corridor of the hotel was long and cold.

"This is like that Doctor Who episode."

"Which one?"

"The God Complex."

Agathe tells him.

"How very fitting for right now."

"Is it just me? or did this whole space just get cold all of a sudden."

Bolin was right, it was getting cold.

But not the natural cold, no.

This sort of cold made your blood chill.

"Great! It's not only gods and demons we need to worry about but the living dead as well!"

"As long as they don't have an issue with us, thats fine."

Agathe assures Carissa.

"But how on earth am I going to get any sleep!?"

"Stop groaning! could be worse, we could be walking for miles and camping out on our first night!"

"What are we going to do about food?"

Carissa asks out of curiosity.

"We will cross that bridge when we come to it, for now lets just relax."

"If you say so."

They walk into Carissa's hotel room.

"These rooms don't even have TV!"

"That's impossible! what hotel doesn't have TV?!"

"I have Netflix, I can download the app for you guys, and we can share the account."

"Cheers!"

Agathe says.

Bolin goes on his phone, no WiFi!

"That's weird, I thought most hotels have WiFi."

"This is stupid! we have money, can't we just buy a TV off a salesman for cheep and set it up for the evening?"

"Carissa, our parents say we need to save our money."

"And that means no TV?"

Carissa groans.

"I suppose we can just stay in the bar downstairs."

"Great idea!

a simple Pepsi is only £1.50.

Also, they're refills!"

"Brilliant!"

Carissa says.

And so they did, the bar was the perfect area to think, they found a quiet area at the back.

"So, Agathe? plan?"

"Why do you assume Agathe has a plan?

someone else might have a plan!"

"Go on then, were all ears."

"No, I have no idea."

Bolin says, Carissa rolls her eyes.

"Agathe, save us."

"I say, we rest here for a while, have breakfast (which comes into the price of the hotel) then we go straight away."

"Good plan, I like that plan!"

"Where to?"

Bolin asks.

"That is where I am lost."

"So we have no destination!"

"No."

Bolin then groans.

"Great."
