nightlight

A Poem by amelia.elaine
"

i still have writers block. i don't know how i managed to dream up this poem. but i did. even with writers block. yay me!! so if it sucks i apologize. i know it jumps around. but i actually like it =]

"

metal on metal
flesh on flesh

scream loud, run fast

nightmares live in our closets
until they're ready to scare you in the land of peace
the boogyman got ahold of mr.sandman
stole his sand just to taunt me
tease me and deprive me
of sleep filled nights
now spent tossing and turning

afraid of the dark
the shadows that hang over my head

the boogyman won't let mr.sandman go
not until he's satisfied, with the torment of
broken souls

^^yesterday, I loved those lines,
today I still do.
:]
[meant to sent you a reiview yesterday but the bell rang]
anywho.
I love this poem.
I love the formatting,
I love the way you've depicted the insomniac and the villain.

I think it's great.

I think this is a hammer aimed at your writer's block. It is vivid and I feel the pain of the insomniac!

****
not picking, just wondering
line 4 is closents meant to be closets
and second from last line is torrment typo, think maybe might be torment?
