As I consider my own take on these words, they definitely convey an intriguing incite about freedom and perhaps war. I like how just these few words can spawn a slew of contemplations. I also like how I can read the lines all together as "after they survive chaos can be madness" or broken up as "after they survive / chaos can be madness".
Enjoyed contemplating this one.

I bet you're a Notre Dame fan.

I'm glad you like my couplet.
Is it sufficient to say "true," as a review? I could write on this topic for hours. You've said all that's necessary.

I believe it is sufficient Robert Ray. Thanks for stopping by, it's always a pleasure.
my views on chaos and anarchy amount to the same thing and that is lawlessness which means total destruction which is the opposite of what i want. sad to say it is becoming a reality. nice piece of writing and i salute you for creating this piece.

Surviving chaos is possible as under the right conditions, chaos spontaneously evolves into a predictable pattern so there is still an underlying order there. So in the natural order of things the leaderless won't be without a leader for too long. Yet its the unknown calm that follows chaos that must be feared more. For a lot of evil breeds covertly, in the guise of good. I really appreciate writing that triggers a thought process.
