Learned to Fly

How did it come out? I felt inspired

We all feel sad

In our lives 

Yet we think 

That we don't have a reason 

To fight  

We all are afraid

but fear has to go away at some point

We've tried to fly

But we've fell down 

Earth's gravity brought us to reality's crown

Hey

But that doesn't mean

That we were going to stop trying

So we've built and built bridges

To connect our lands and people

with dreams that come in many little things 

 one day

Those things

 became giants

That roam around our world

with such beauty in our world 

We all learn to fly at some point

We are a human race

Full of dreams and realities

WE all have a different story

A different life

No matter who you are 

We've all been through some pretty rough stuff

But we're here 

Alive

Breathing and Alive

Some fight back

Some give up 

We're full of surprises

We fight againts the wind 

That pushes us backwards 

But Like the birds and airplanes

Some day

We......

Lizardo, a great message as usual. You know, i think you always carry a strong will to fight back in your poetry. Not a kind of harsh, rude fight. But, that kind of fight that also shows patience and inner strength. This is a good piece.

Love the form of this piece... so much like flying and like life... each piece an individual step in the process of learning, yet connected to that greater piece... also enjoyed the emphatic devices you have employed (the changing font, bold print, italicized words, and etc.)... as I read I felt like I was learning to fly all over... well-done, Lizardo!
