This literally came to life while dreaming I was falling, which then turned into flying before awaking. I tried to go back to sleep so that I could keep flying but the illusion faded. And I woke in dream, sad. The title is a homage to prolific fantasy writer Neil Gaiman.

This is so beautiful.
Just 3 lines that tells you so much and makes your mind wonder off to think about so many things.

This is my attempt at a Japanese style of poetry called Senryu. To me it's like an enigmatic puzzle of words that follow a certain creation structure allowing for a particular set of syllables in a three sentence pattern. It's done if I'm not mistaken by 5 syllables on the first line, 7 syllables on the second, ending in 5 again. It's tricky for me as a writer because I tend to love writing flowery descriptive sentences, but I'm starting to get close to unlocking this riddle of this poetry style. I enjoy the challenge because it forces me outside of my comfort zone. Never ever be afraid to try new things, because even in failure you may make something profoundly beautiful or enlightening. Writing is that journey into the sublime. Thank you so much for your words. I truly appreciate them.
