Cold

My reflection is dancing

With the shadows of my heart

And my soul is drunk on moonshine

Uncaringly tearing smiles apart

Pearls of pain seep from my veins

Rushing through hells gates like a runaway train

While poisoned pleasure makes me feel insane

And from the mind, my conscience drains

My pupils are disintegrating slowly

As Love plays a mirage over my perception

Creating the cruel conception

Of relationships true and wholly

Reality clutches my dreams to its hungry mouth

Rough hands of a hangman 

Tearing it into irreversibly broken pieces 

Dissolving into nothing but bits of decaying dust

I'm so cold

My smiles are hollow

My eyes are filled with sorrow

I feel like I'm falling apart
