Oh yes! This is picture perfect, I can see it, smell it and feel it. We just had snow, sleet, rain, then snow again in just one hour….that’s Illinois for ya! Great write!

Being a hardcore Californian (where we don't have winters) I am not a fan of snow. But your poem is the first time I've ever seen snow referred to as making the land "new again" (virgin). Nice concept! (((HUGS)))
