My Samuel

Samuel and I, that's hard to describe. We've gone through everything together. Five years worth of everything. We met in 7th grade science and immediately had a connection. We "dated" for a while, the way immature 8th graders do. Freshman year was pretty rough on us. We fought. Constantly. In July we took a trip to Seattle with a few of our friends. Maybe it was "fate." Maybe hormones. Or maybe just a friendly joke from God, but for some reason, I fell for Samuel in Washington. I fell hard. And while I was sitting in that car falling for Samuel, God bent down and whispered in his ear, 

Catch her.

And that's exactly what he did.
